Pigmentation can be a challenge for natural beauty products, which is a bummer. Higher pigmented makeup contains more color and requires less product to get full coverage. These products also last longer. Luckily, Juice Beauty has cracked the code for safe and pigmented makeup with its Phyto-Pigments line. It uses certified organic ingredients and plant-derived pigments — instead of synthetic dyes — to get real color payoff.
I can practically create a whole look using four of the best Juice Beauty makeup products from the line. The foundation gives me a smooth base to work with. The rich liquid liner makes my eyes pop. And the brow gel and lip gloss polish things off without trying too hard.

If you’re not familiar with Juice Beauty, Karen Behnke founded the brand after she became pregnant with her first child at the age of 40. Karen couldn’t find safe and effective personal care products and decided to do better herself. Today, Juice Beauty is one of the only organic beauty companies in the luxury market. Because the US government actually regulates the “organic” label, Juice Beauty products must have more than 70 percent total organic content (excluding water). Juice Beauty products also rank well in the Environmental Working Group’s Skindeep Database. Here are my favorite products from their Phyto-Pigments line.
My Favorite Juice Beauty Makeup
Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Liquid Line and Define
This liquid liner is easy to apply and doesn’t get messy. The fine-tipped brush stays stiff, which helps with accuracy. It goes on evenly and you can create a nice, thin crisp line. I also like to soften it sometimes with an eyeliner brush. Juice Beauty says the dark, intense black color comes from eclipta daisy, cranberry, turmeric, basil, and henna. I can confirm that active peptides make your lashes appear longer. When I wear this liner I keep my eyeshadow minimal, simply brushing a neutral matte color from my Lily Lolo pallette across my eyelid crease.
Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Brow Gel
Every time I wear this eyebrow gel, I feel more put together. It keeps my eyebrows in place and makes them look full. The pigments come from eclipta daisy, moringa, and lotus flower. I use the lightest shade, and it’s still very pigmented. A little goes a long way. I usually brush it out with a toothbrush to soften the look.
Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Liquid Lip
When I want a fresh face with a pop of color, this is my go-to lip gloss. I like that it’s more moisturizing than a typical gloss. The shine tends to fade over time, but you’re left with a lasting lip stain. The berry shade “Gwyneth” works great for fall.
Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Flawless Serum Foundation
This liquid foundation penetrates the skin nicely and creates a silky texture. The coverage is light to medium, but it did diminish the dark spots I have on my cheeks. I got it in the Buff shade and the undertones feel more blue than orange. The color runs a little on the light side compared to other Juice Beauty foundations I’ve used. Overall it gives a lovely natural finish that I like for daytime. This one is also available on Amazon.
Overall, the Phyto-Pigments line from Juice Beauty feels luxe and the product sticks around throughout the day. It’s high-quality and safe, so what’s not to love?
